Any suggestions???

i just gotta new bed finally! i decorated the headboard with gerbera daisies and ribbon. my room is hot pink and green and purple with tinkerbell accents and posters. i dont have much money but have quite a lot of time so anybody know how i can spice things up? i could really use it! thx!

Reply:Oooh fun! Well, you can carry the daisies through-out. Like, you could also decorate a lampshade with them and you could even glue them to the base of the lamp for a REALLY unique effect. You can snag a decent lamp for less than 20 bucks at a Target, or try a thrift shop for a really inexpensive one. I think that a large rug in one of the colors you mentioned would really add a lot of energy to the room, but they can be pricey. You could check discount stores, because they might have one you would like. Lastly, PAINT! If you can paint your walls, then DO IT! You mentioned you have time, but not so much money, so this might be just PERFECT for you. You could do a light green that goes with the fairy theme, or do the pink or purple. I would go a little lighter than the colors you accent with, so the room won't feel closed in. If you want to, you can use one wall as an accent wall and have that wall darker and even use glitter paint on it! You can get paint for like ten bucks a gallon. It makes a huge difference!!
