I'm looking for advice on my wedding centerpieces....?

We're using bubble bowls w/ a gerbera bloom floating in water for the tables, I wanted to use the "gems" on the bottom, but having a hard time deciding what color to use. The girls' dresses are wine color, the blooms will be golden yellow, a deeper orange %26amp; burgundy. Clear gems or try to match one of the colors???

My sis-in-law did that also, and used a variety of complimentary colors, which looked very nice. You could do clear with a few burgundy for an accent color...
Reply:I'd do a combination of all the colors mixed together
Reply:Contrast with the color of the flower and the table linens. No one will hold up the centerpiece to the dresses, but they will see how the different colors mix on the table.
Reply:Try blue to look more like water.
Reply:we did almost the same center pc for my sons wedding in jan and i can tell you the clear stones with on of your choose n clolres works good we use clear and wine in some and clear and green that wa their colors the clear dont show ver y welll alone even a mixture of 4 to one clear and colored is nice good look on your happy day make sure its all what you want after al its your day to shine
Reply:I say go with Champagne colored water or champagne colored gems.
Reply:Use different colors on each table, so use wine in one bowl, deep orange in another, etc. This sounds very beautiful!
Reply:You could use different colored stones to compliment the color flower in the bowl.

Say your flower is yellow, the complimentary color for the stone would be violet.

Orange flower- Blue stones

Burgundy flower- deep green

I think this would really set off your centerpieces and really compliment all of your chosen colors.

Good luck and may God bless your upcoming marriage.
