Pink and orange wedding?

I'm wanting to do my wedding in pink and orange gerbera daisies. any ideas? I'm up to anything, even changing the flowers. I just don't know. email me at calleann@att.net thanks in advance.

Reply:Ive seen pink and orange done in Martha Stewart Weddings. It was striking, especially for a daytime summer affair.

Keep the oranges and pinks bright -- no dark tones -- and you will be fine. Have you considered peonies? They are a bright and "fun" looking flower, I think they would look great in pink and orange.

Use white linens and the color will really pop!
Reply:no no no, gerberas are my favorite flower but not pink and orange! depending on what time of year you're getting married, pink for spring/summer, orange for fall/winter. put white and one other lighter accent color in the bouquets.

I LOVE the look of hand tied bouquets, and if you put the flowers on the cake and maybe monogram it it will be pretty! Or you could do fondant dots on a white cake, that looks nice too.

Reply:Pink and orange! What a special idea for a spring wedding or fall wedding, or for a wedding of any season!!! Sounds fabulous. You can have hot pink invitations for your bachelorette party (if you make your own) or have hot pink envelopes and response cards so that they stand out when they come in the mail. You can incorporate pumpkins into your theme too, you know, the orange color and pumpkins are orange. I just so much love pumpkins. Pumpkin pie, pumpkin candies, pumpkin cheesecake, pumpkin flavored coffee cream for the coffee; pumpkin seeds for favors, oh, so many pumpkin ideas. Just love your creativity, my little pumpkin (just a trite joke)

Reply:I used to work for a florist.....for some reason everyone loves gerbera daisies. If that is what you like, you go for it. I am not understanding the question....do you need to know what dresses would go with it or are you just questioning your flower choice? Also, if you need favors...I am an artist and handpaint unique ones...email me (can even be pink and orange daisy themed)
