Can any one tell me pls what is gibralic acid?

generally i have seen so many farmers use the gibralic acid for open floriculture crops.

iam also gerbera cut flower grower.
Can any one tell me pls what is gibralic acid?
gibberelic acid (GA) is a plant hormone that is responsible for internode elongation in plants. It makes the cells grow longer. Plants defective in GA production will be dwarves, shorter than their normal counterparts. Plants that produce excessive GA will be tall and spindly. Dwarf plants will grow to normal size if supplemented with GA.
Reply:I have a feeling you possibly could mean gibberellic acid, it's a plant hormone, I think it stimulates root formation, but you might wanna check that on wikipedia:)
