How many Flowers??

Ok. so i'm planning a june 2009 wedding. I"m using gerbera daisies (pink, pale yellow and white).. i am just wondering if anyone can give me an idea of how many flowers i'm looking at.. probably 3 standing up on each side in bridal party. and we are having it at a small church. Or if anyone can give me a list of ALL the places i'll need the flowers. I don't think i'll need a ton since I know gerberas are a bigger flower. Thanks!!

Alright here is the list I went by to figure out who and what all needed flowers.

Bride bouquet

little bouquet to toss

3 bouquets for your girls

bootineer for the groom

3 bootineers for the groomsmen

Unity Candle arrangement

2 bootineers for Fathers of bride/groom

2 corsages for Mothers of bride/groom

I also went as far as to get for Grandmothers and Grandfathers and brothers and sisters

If you want flowers on the pews you could do that or you can do bows.

And if you want flowers on your wedding cake there is that too.

If you want flowers in your hair or in the girls hair there is that too.

As for flowers that is all we did. Although at the reception you might want flowers on the tables but I used candles.

Really when it comes down to a total it depends on what kind of bouquets you want and how big and the bootineers depend on if you want one flower or more. Good luck to you and I hope this helped.
Reply:I just got married in March and my flower consultant took care of all that. If you are planning on having someone do your flowers they can better tell you how many arrangements you need also you need to consider how many you have in your wedding party since the church is small. You want everyone to be able to fit along with the decorations. I had seven brides maids and groomsman plus four ushers (they also stood at the front). I married in a fairly large church and I used one arrangement in the center and two at the sides. I had two big candelabras and three tall freestanding candle holders. I off set all this with two big ferns. Remember the going thing in weddings now is less is more!! Oh and use lots of greenery like ivy!!
Reply:My sister did gerbera's and she had two candleabras with ivy and three gerberas in the center on each side of the altar. She also did one daisy tied with ribbon for each pew. She did not do a center arrangement since the altar was so small.
Reply:Don't forget a small bouquet in a vase in the ladies powder room. It's a nice touch.
