For the flower gurus out there. Help with daisies?

I bought about 12 Gerbera Daisy's. They've got sun, plenty of water plus a little snail bait around them now cause the slimmy buggers seem to like them. But some are not happy, their wilted looking. Some standing up with the pedals wilted, some completely liveless...so happy. Funny though, at night a few look a little perkier! What's wrong with them. Would they enjoy more shade? I've never planted them before so I'm a

Gerbera virgin! haha

Can anybody help me!

Yes, they do need to be in part shade. Morning sun is alright, not too hot. But afternoon sun will cause exactly what you are describing.

Reply:They need to be kept cool. They shouldn't be in direct sun. Becareful not to let them dry out, but don't keep them too wet either.
