Different flowers in centerpieces and bouquets?

My wedding is set for the beginning of June, the bridesmaids bouquets will probably be a mix of tulips and roses, and my bouquet will be tulips. However, for the centerpieces I really want to create bushes of mini gerbera daisies. If the centerpieces and decor are the same colors as the bouquet, would it look weird to use a totally different flower?

No, it will be fine. Your reception will just have a different mood and theme.
Reply:of course it's fine!

Don't get like the bride on here a few months ago who was worried that her gown wasn't going to match the table linens!!!
Reply:No, absolutely not! I would say as long as they are still in the same color scheme, it's okay to go with different flowers.
Reply:different kinds in the same color(s) is fine. %26amp; even if everyone in the world thought it wasn't, if that's what you want to do in YOUR wedding, DO IT!!

Good Luck %26amp; HAVE FUN!!!!!!
Reply:no, because they aren't related.....the centerpieces and decor are for the reception, the wedding party's flowers are for the ceremony....not related, it should look fine
Reply:no not at all...mix it up and have fun...congrats and best wishes
Reply:NO, it would not look weird! I love flowers. Just keep in the same colors and they will look nice!!
Reply:It's not flowers but for my wedding I am doing floating candles for my centerpieces. If you google it there are some really pretty ideals
Reply:There is no rule they have to match and usually they don't. No one is going to compare the two.
